If you know Nathan he is the chap that rode a postie (C110 Honda) bike from Australia back to England, the long way about 10 years ago.

Funny thing about those CT110’s.
I’ve never ridden one outside of Australia, but we were doing some calculations at work one day.
I was postie for 37 years.
Minimum 40 k’s per day x 5 days a week x 48 weeks per year x 37 years = 355,000 k’s.
That’s excluding overtime...

It will be interesting to see which bike gets the most practical use.

He still has his Himalayan and has put a lot of miles on it and given an honest assessment of the bike.  It'll be interesting to see how he gets along with the V85tt.

That seems like a great pairing of bikes.
He lost the run of himself.

Hmm, yeah, V85 and Himalayan, I could definitely live with that combo!

He beat on a Himalayan riding across North America riding a lot with the throttle pinned.  He learned from that experience and wanted a more road oriented adventure bike for his next trip across North America doing something called the garbage run?  Says he will put about 15k on it during that trip.  He has no plans to off-road the TT in the same way he off-roads the Himalayan.

If I had just bought a V7III stone and left it stock I would probably be on a V85 today as a complement to the Himalayan.  But alas, I bought the Carbon and dumped a bunch of money into it on purpose to force me to keep it for a while.

I even turned down a test ride of the V85 because I know I have little will power.  LOL!

Probably a good idea.  My V7 didn't survive my purchase of the V85 after a test ride and now my Stelvio is in the final stages of being sold as well.  The V85 will be my only bike moving forward (for now???)
