MG in south Denver?
« on: April 22, 2020, 10:26:01 AM »
Aces Motorcycles of Fort Collins, Colorado, an hour north of Denver, has been a Guzzi dealer for months now. They have acquired or bought another store in south suburban Littleton, and the website appears to show that location as a Guzzi dealer also. I've written Matthew at the Fort Collins store to ask him if that is actually the case. More news as it breaks...

It is, KOF! Thanks! Rascal is just purring along perfect!

Here's Matthew's response. I told him I hope he's doing well in these strange times...

"The Littleton store is handling new Guzzi sales, although I'm the service outlet for the whole deal. Yeah, it's weird times..."

Must be about 80 miles from Littleton to Fort Collins. There's a Triumph/Ducati/Piaggio store in central Denver, but they are not Guzzi-focused. Aces Motorcycles is south and north of them.

Erico in downtown Denver (or close to downtown).

Nice guys.  Haven't purchased thing there except a Tshirt.  But they were friendly and let me take off in Cal 1400 for an hour.

Lots of cool stuff there and collector bikes too.

I have been there before. When I was there they didn't have hardly an MG in stock. They were nice people though!

Nope.  But can't blame them.  They're in business to sell bikes and make money.

Cam, that's correct! I flew east on May 3rd and you picked me up in Atlantic City on the 4th. I remember struggling to find neutral as we rode through New Jersey and into Philly. Everything on that bike seemed so strange and different. By the time I got home, everything had fallen into place and it was my bike. I'm really pleased that we have stayed in contact over these twelve months...and I wish we could have met in Austin for the MotoGP! You're the prince of previous owners, Cam!

As of six weeks ago, Aces did not plan to offer service/repair work at their Denver location; all service will be done in Ft. Collins.

I spoke with Mathew about six weeks ago and he told me the same. I believe he mentioned something to the effect that they were planning on receiving bikes for service at the Littleton location, transport them to Fort Collins for the work, and then transport them back to Littleton for the customer.
I would not hesitate using these guys for service work on a Guzzi. Mathew runs a talented group of techs and I know at least two of them have been to San Diego for Piaggio/Guzzi specific training a couple of months ago. I also believe Mathew managed to get his Aprilla tech back from when he had Moto Italia.
I generally do all of my own work but of course was happy to let these guys take care of the V85 when I got the dreaded recall letter in the mail. I even splurged and had them install the OEM heated grips while it was in there.
