Ride it off the lot and it instantly becomes a used six model year old bike, worth nowhere its selling price. Caveat emptor.

It is new as in pristine, but not new as with warranty. So, you have to evaluate it as a used 6 year old low mileage bike. I don't know if that is a good price or not, how do you value that against a 20,000 mile 2014?

I bought my leftover 2015 in the spring of 2016 from Moto International for $9990. And although my Norge is pristine and low miles it is probably worth half what I paid for it. Assuming I wanted to sell it.

I’ve got a 13 year old Norge with 185,000 k that $30,000 wouldn’t buy..(must be one of the rare ones..)

I'm not interested, had a Norge and it was a great bike, but seating position was too tight on my knees, even with lowered pegs and different seats. A fabulous bike though.

Every once in a while I see folks opining that they wish they could find a new or almost new Norge and keep it for a lifetime, figured I'd post it up.

I didn’t think you’d posted it for any other reason apart from what you mention. All the armchair economists who slag off and point out extraneous crap..
All bikes are money pits, you’ll lose on all of them eventually, unless you factor in what money can’t buy.

They are “worth” what YOU think they are worth..
My Mk2 is a rough as guts piece of overvalued, underbraked, underpowered, underused, undersuspended piece of overrated junk compared to my Norge or V85...
To sell it today it’s “worth” heaps, but as a bike in today’s world, it’s garbage.

On second thought, an Espresso and Grappa Norge with 10 miles! Worth twice the price!

My Norge is certainly worth that asking price to me, to someone else, who knows, but it is irrelevant because its not going anywhere.

Price wise for my 2011 Norge my 75 T-3 will probably bring more money now. Oh well, I enjoy the Norge and the T-3 and not planning to sell either, so priceless in the enjoyable to me category.

Sounds like a one owner bike. The dealer that is selling it is not a Guzzi dealer.

Saw a few at the Datil NM rally last year. Nice looking bike. Unfamiliar with them. Do they have the the updated rollerized 8v motor? What years? When did they stop making them - 2016? Probably a great long hauler.

I bought my 2012 Norge a few years ago with 27,000 miles. Now it's at 68,000 miles and

has been trouble free. Just Normal maintenance. No point trying to sell it now. I reckon it'll go 200,000 miles and I'll either be too old to ride then or dead.

I think that price is a little on the optimistic side. You'd be lucky to get that in Canadian dollars. Dealers were selling brand new 2016's for around $11CDN. Used 2104's are selling for in the $7's.

I had a 2014 as well. Really liked the bike and color, and part of me regrets trading it for the MGX, but that's the way it goes. My main issue was the seating position, even with lowered pegs and Corbin was to tight for my knees. I bet had I gone for a Sargent, or had the stock seat built up by Russel Day Long, I could have worked it out. I never loved it as I did/do the Griso. I do wonder where the bike is these days.

Not 100% positive, but I think that though my bike was a 2014, It may have had a motor that was rollerized. I bought it used with 800 miles on it. I got it for a steal as it had a few issues, chief being that it would not rev past 6K RPM, and the fuel gauge didn't work, and the bike had been dropped, had some scuffing on the lower fairings.

Bike was still under warranty, and after MI techs and I tried just about everything we could think of, Roper mentioned he had an 8V motor in his shop that had the cam 1 tooth out of sync. Took it back to MI and sure enough that was the issue. When the Tech disassembled the cambox to align the cam, he said that the motor had been apart before. With it only having 800 miles, the only thing I could think was that it was rollerized at the original dealer in California, or factory?

The original owner was an inexperienced rider, was taken in by the sexy looks and traded it in for a Harley 883......

I really like the Pearl White color too, but the Brown is beautiful. I bet a solid $8-9K cash would be a sale on this.

I'm sure I read all the 14's were factory rollerized. I think (thought?) the change was in mid M/Y 13.
Mine is white also with several upgrades. HAMLIN has a nice mod he does with the crankcase vent so it no longer enters the airbox. I got it in 16 as a leftover 14 with full warrantee

Yes, I think so too, just not sure why my motor would have been taken apart and reassembled (incorrectly) so early. I did talk to the original owner and he said he never had work done on it, and never revved past 5000 rpm, so had no idea there was a problem.

maybe quality control at the factory (not a joke guys) caught something, then they opened it up to do the work, but quality control missed the bad timing.

I wanted a Norge but ended up with a Stelvio for that same reason, legroom. The extra suspension travel was a bonus. My Stelvio never goes offroad.

I was a bit. I rebuilt the seat and raised it an inch and a half. MUCH better.
