SRK Cycles
« on: April 15, 2020, 12:01:41 AM »
SRK Cycles does uTube videos. It is a used bike dealership in Penna that does interesting videos on all kinds of used bikes.Their videos have been brought up here before. Anyway they did a new one today or yesterday on how to ride a motorcycle. He just used a V7 Racer to demonstrate. The owner has recently kind of gotten bitten by the Guzzi bug.

Watched a few of his video's he is a little bit what I'd call captain encouragement, doesn't matter what it is, it's always cool awesome etc etc. That may be his outlook on life, it may be his sales pitch he's a bike saleman afterall. He's also into talking to his imaginary best friend pretty heavily which I personally find a bit off putting free country an all that, its youtube there a plenty of other things to watch.

Certainly the place does plenty of volume and variety and give you a window into whats out there.

Ya if you go back you can see his love of guzzi's form over the different ones he has picked up and tested..  He is pretty smitten with that V7 racer!

I live about 25 minutes away from them and I stopped in last year (in my car while working nearby) just to see what they were like. They have a great supply of used bikes and the owners are very friendly. And when they found out I rode a Guzzi. they encouraged me to ride by sometime

You need to watch some MotoGeo videos.  He is a former racer and a motorcycle nut, but he can appreciate that not every motorcycle needs to be compared to a race bike.

I have come to think that you are not a very happy person.  Maybe you need to learn more about his imaginary friend.

They also have a video on their site which is called "the greatest café racer I've ever ridden!"… It's a Moto Guzzi V7 Racer!

Each bike he does a video on is the most amazing incredible bike ever (at something)!  I do watch many and find it entertaining.  His video on the Quota made me really want one!

I liked the episode where he was taping flashlights onto a Harley while on a road trip.  Not sure how much of it is "real" vs. done for entertainment value (and marketing for his used bike business).
