Huge influence to our television viewing history. Nothing even close in today's mainstream "entertainment" May he rest in peace.

My wife's a huge Dick Van Dick show fan, so she told me about his passing. One of the best.  He never slowed down, right to the end. RIP

As a kid of 8-9 years old in the early 1950s, I remember looking forward to "Your Show of Shows."  What a overabundance of talent!  Sid Caesar, Howard Morris, Imogene Coca   ......   and of course, Carl Reiner.  I don't think there was ever any better entertainment on the screens of yesteryear's  17" black and white tv screens than these witty, bright, and funny performers.  RIP Carl Reiner.
