It's amazing. The tech and handling are incredible. The power is crazy ridiculous. For the record, the MGX handles better but I'm learning the limits on this thing and those 35MPH curves that I took at 70 on the MGX are reduced to 60-65 on the Indian for now, but the thrill factor is more on the Indian for some reason. Short of ordering a Corbin, I will leave it completely stock since there's no need to change anything else. Nothing I have will out corner the 01 EV though. It's like a sport bike, as all other EV owners already know.

I have a lot of Harley friends who really eye up the new Indians-but they have 10,000 in Harley clothes and, well, you know............... ..

I did (as far as I was able to find out from Polaris) the first 1000-mile day on a production Indian back when the brand was re-introduced - and sold a LOT of them while working at the dealer in Las Vegas that year. If I were to buy a cruiser (and I may yet) it would almost certainly be an Indian.

Good for you...and enjoy the RIDE!!   Taking turns at 5-10 mph slower is no big deal, in the big picture, (IMHO). 

Having a reliable motorcycle is worth it's weight in gold...

If I had the money that is the bike I would have. I asked at my local dealer what was the amount of warranty work vs. Harley. He said go and look at our repair shop which is next to Harley (Bigg's Harley San Marcos, Ca a very good dealer) and look at ours. But I said, 'yeah but Harley sells a lot more bikes' he said they keep tabs on percentages of repair rates and the Indian is awesome!

I would love to see an air cooled one in a Norton Featherbed frame with Ohlins stuff dripping off both ends.
John Williams aluminium tank etc..
A nice coming together of two worlds..
