It appears that Virginia went to renewal stickers in 1973 for "passenger vehicles and trailers." I have a YOM plate on my '64 BMW and trying to see if it's possible for my buddy's '74 Ducati 750GT that's emerging from a bunch of boxes. The DMV site lets you use YOM for motorcycles manufactured before 1976.
However, a collector told him VA didn't stamp motorcycle plates for 1974. I'm assuming that's because they went to the sticker system. Any ideas?
