LeMans 3 tank wanted

Wondering if anyone has a LeMansIII tank they'd sell me? Mine's been repaired at some distant time with a nice paint job. In the right light or running your hand over the top you can see/feel low spots that aren't too obvious the rest of the time. The tank also doesn't fit right and is a chore to mount - it seems to be too narrow since I really have to force it to slide along the top tube into the front mounts. Since it looks pretty decent the plan is to get a second tank to restore, then when it's all done, repair the current one.

It seems there were enough of these bikes converted to early LeMans, there should be some tanks taking up space and collecting dust.

I'm pretty sure that ad was from Henk in the Netherlands. If Charlie cannot find the link I can ask you if he still has the LM3 tank. Shipping will probably be expensive though..

Yes, I’ve been at his place. He’s got a nice lm3 racer work in progress and my dad bought a hydroconvert from him. Definitely a nice guy. He trades/sells quite a few parts via Facebook and other connections in the Netherlands. As for the shipping, that’s probably pretty reasonable. I would make sure he vents it well before shipping as you definitely don’t want any trouble with the customs.

Yeah both tanks look great, but I guess the LM4 is no longer available. Lucky for me the LM3 is.

Thanks Wirespokes, I was just wondering if he had a list or pics of what he was selling posted somewhere. I think I'm good for now on parts for the LMIV, I'm trying to cut myself off from hoarding more parts I may or may not need and if I got his email to start communication, I'd fall off the wagon I'm sure
