Excellent! I would have had electric start added so that pops didn't have to kick it to life.  :azn:

Good one.  That's been around for 5 years or more.  I wonder if the dad is still riding it.  It appears the dad had enough beef to kick over 850cc.  NORTON RULES!

Wow, that video has been out 9 years now!  I watched it a few times in a row back then it was so good.

As soon as I opened it, I realized that I had seen it before too.  Good vid.   :thumb:  Some of the newer forum members may not have seen it.

Yeah, we saw that not long after we bought a 69(?) 750S about 8 yrs ago for $325.00.  We kept waiting for a benevolent soul to steal it and build/restore it so we wouldn't have to...

No such luck.  We ended up doing it ourselves.  It came out pretty good, but no handy pics right now.

edit- found the pics.  Before and after.

Screengrab from our 2014 rally video with Guzzi Mike (with his Nuovo Falcone photobombing the scene) imagining the crunchy Norton is his....

And after we finished.   Dennis wanted to do a custom Board Tracker-themed build.  Used 21" wheels front and back. NOS HD Sprint rear fender was beadblasted to remove the perfect paint, then the original vinyl sticker was peeled to leave a perfect center stripe with pinstripes.  made/modified a seat pan. custom rear frame hoop.  Original steel tank with his last name on it.  Never took engine apart, just sandblasted it whole with black beauty here at my shop and called it good enough.  $23 chinese fake mikuni with real Mikuni jet that took hours to install.  He really wanted those little reverse cone megahones/trumpets on P11 headpipes.  With proper kick through to prime on compression, it's a one kick to start bike.
