Memphis Shades Sportshields anyone?

Anyone here using Memphis Shades Sportshields? 

Looking for input concerning handling, but willing to listen to buffeting issues. 

I love the handling performance of my CalVin sans OEM windshield (or a much larger Memphis Shades Fats tombstone.  YUCK!!)
Have considered shaving an inch, or two, off the sides and top of an OEM. 

However I have decided to first try the Sportshield line at Memphis Shades. 

Will be experimenting with a Del Rio as soon as I modify brackets.

I prefer the Clearview shield. Their design  is superior to the convention shield and the prices are Comparable.

Ncdan, I assume the Clearview is a replacement for the OEM.  Looking for something different than that.   

Hoping that Memphis Shades sportshield offerings prove to be more aerodynamic than the tombstones I've used on Californias in the past. 

The goal is two fold.  1.  keep the freeway wind off my torso while not compromising handling.  2.  have the flexibility to swap a minimal wind protection shield (Memphis Del Ray) for full-on touring coverage (Memphis Big Shot) quickly. 

Bought my CalVin four years ago.  Struggled with the buffeting issue.  Switched to a larger Memphis Fats shield.  Installed vents.  As many of you know none of this really solves buffeting.  Never got around to fork shields.  I did consider going back to a Plexifairing III like I had on a Cal III. 

Well, I broke that Memphis Fats screen.  Long story.  Never liked the effect it had on the steering, anyhow.  Grudgingly reinstalled the OEM shield.  Began thinking about replacing the CalVin because it still felt like a wallowing pig.   

One hot summer day in 2018 I made a run without a shield.  Was amazed at how well the bike handled.  Feel back in love.

And here I am today searching for a better shield.

I had a MS handlebar/ fork mount sport shield on my Cali Aluminum years ago. It was a nice shield, with good adjustability,and a dark gradient tint. I like the fork mounted lowers they make too.Helps with airflow from underneath coming up,and lifting your jacket.

I've been using a MS fork mount on my V7II and like it a lot , its big enough to be a REAL  SHIELD.

I had to add an inch of spacer (fuel line) between the aluminum mounts and the shield itself to get out past the speedometer.
