Interstate 35
« on: August 21, 2020, 08:37:34 PM »
Yesterday I ran to Auston to picked a heavy pick up.  Hauling it from Auston to Dallas was hell.  I don’t think I’ve every been on a road so ruffle, and no pot holes.  How did they make it so ruffle.  I feel for those who drive that road with a load.Rudy

I couldn't agree more about I-35 or the merge to it.

It doesn't matter what you call it, but the stretch from Austin to Dallas is hell on wheels.

My ex stepson, Tinkerbell, had ruffles on his pink shirt. I know Rudy so I couldn't figure out what he meant by ruffles.
Yes, I-35 in Texas is to be avoided at all costs.

I didn’t want to start anything with but spell checker didn’t like my ruff so that’s what you got   If all you got is words beating up with I will live to a 100

All I can say ruffles or not, the interstate system in general is in dire need of repairs and upgrades. I-10 thru Louisiana and  Texas is one example.

Well, it just reinforces the thread we had just a bit ago that posited that motorcycles don't have any good reason to be on Interstates anyhow, when it gets right down to it.   Let the cars get beat up ....

Gettin ready to bug out for hurricane Laura won't be home for a while.

Good luck with house.  Had oysters last night and a Joe's Seafood Sandwich for beakfast (fish filet, lettuce, tomatoes  french dressing between two pieces of left over white bread).  Gonna hang a couple of sheets of plywood.
See ya

Ridden out quite a few, but have acquired some common sense as I've gotten older.  This one is big enough and close enough that  we decided to head to Rosenberg for a few days.   We'll be fine.  At least I didn't have to ride the ruffles up I35.  Sorry Rudy couldn't resist.

Galveston, well a little bit Noth and West right now

Didn't intend to hijack Rudy's thread.
