Probably much more electric than gas.  To solve the range problem, there will most likely be detachable batteries that reside in the back panniers or hanging off a frame member.  Let me know what happens.  By then, I'll be easy to find...looking up at the grass.

Why am I seeing so many stories talking about population declining?
Because we’re more interested in riding our bikes than getting a shot away…

The population continues to explode globally. There have been stories in the news lately around decline in birthrate, but in specific countries. Overall, the world population is still growing, but the rate has fallen to about 1% per year..

Considering it took all of human history thru 1800 to reach 1 billion of us, the world population has increased by 7 billion in the last ~200 years

At our current rate of growth, there will be 16 billion of us on this rock by 2120... Of course with the strain for land, water, and resources necessary to support 16 billion human lives, the Earth will likely be just that (a barren rock with some very polluted oceans) in a hundred years. More or less the main reason I dont have kids

Well, I guess the plus side is that those who continue to reproduce tend to be the ones best equipped to scratch out an existence from the land around them, while the "intellectuals" are the ones not reproducing.

Starting to sound like many futuristic Sci-Fi movies where the elites will live in their Ivory towers while the miscreants will merely exist.

Total number of electric motorcycles i have actually seen being ridden on the street to date….?

One.
Yesterday.
It was a Zero.
An electric Vespa has sat unsold (used) at my local dealer, brilliant little bike, but no sale

Not exactly a tsunamis of change, so far.

On the moped/bicycle/scooter side, thousands of ideas sprouting up. Large companies building ebikes with marketing showing up everywhere on social media

Sparkcycle In Branford CT has been developing their own designs, going to a 52volt battery. Marketing campaign is entirely on Instagram. Huge front sprocket with 7 gear rear hub, let’s you add leg power on top of the 35mph electric motor. Remote reservoir rear shocks, dirt bike front suspension. Youthful exuberance behind it all.

Have yet to see a major manufacturers’ e motorcycle show up at Sunday breakfast anywhere. The incredibly shrinking market for ICE motorcycles may just be starting..

To be continued, I’m sure

If you want to see a lot of electric scooters, take a ride down to NYC as they are all over the place but mostly used by delivery services.

In 25 years?
Hopefully in happy memories.
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.
