V7III Mistral Short Mufflers with Rearsets

I am considering getting a set of Mistral short mufflers and rearsets for my 2018 V7 Milano. These mufflers are located more forward than the full length ones so that the front of the muffler is under the rearset. This is different than in the case of the racer short Mistrals that are back farther. Can anyone tell me if these will work together, not interfering with each other and allowing room for boots?
