That price is down in Moto Guzzi territory!

For $12, how could you not have it under your saddle? Just in case...

There are people who ride without a spare clutch cable?!?  :undecided:
I have one fail about evert 100K miles.
Same advice for carrying a spare throttle cable. (Haven't needed that one yet, but loss would be debilitating)

Not really, it doesn't take long to adapt to not having a clutch, start off in neutral push off and slip into gear, or crank it in first gear, change gears slowly and deliberately.
I had to drive an Austin Healy through Sidney Australia without a clutch.
The last time I broke my clutch lever about 30 miles out of John Day, made it in to town where I found a lever at the Polaris dealership, the owner took us back to his place for the night.
My riding buddy has a spare cable installed on his Z1.

Try it in "stop & go" traffic in the Boston,  Massachusetts area. Different experience.

I didn't say it was easy, obviously you would skirt around peak traffic or wait until it eased off.
I did drive through the main street of Sydney, George St if I remember, fixed the clutch at the first service station I came to.

Having said all that I will probably buy a spare cable for the V7 or perhaps just a spare inner.

When I started motorcycling there was no such thing as pre-made cables.
