I normally ride 12k to 15k miles per year but was only able to knock out a bit over 3,000 miles this year.

I tried riding to Georgia but everywhere I stopped was locked up. Campgrounds, gas stations and restaurants were open (mostly) but nothing else was. Riding past State Historical sites, museums, battlefields, etc isn't any fun. I got halfway across Iowa and came home.

Very lame season.

He also logs miles as many different motorcycle manufacturers as possible. I forget the number but its in the 20's or 30's.

While this doesn't seem like a lot once you get past the Asian big 4 and the few American, English and Indian manufacturers it becomes a bit more difficult to find obscure stuff to log miles.

Ok, I have my sharp pencil, green eye shades, and I’m closing the books on 2020. 

Total mileage 27,156

Guzzi V7 Stone was 20,675 mi. 

Triumph 675 Street Triple was 5,162

Ducati 900SS was 1,319.  (Need to replace needle jets)

That’s actually higher than last year.  Go figure

this got me curious so I went back and looked at the maintenance logs. between the 4 bikes, I broke 21,000 miles. about average for me. But I usually hit 10,000 in Az for the 3 months I'm there and only did 6 this year thanks to leaving early. thanks, -!  The worst part is I usually do a lot of 3-4 night overnights up the Blue ridge pky and only did 2 this year. originally I had all of June blocked off to go up to Maine and then do New Foundland PEI etc. we all know that was a total failure.
anyway, no complaints. I did 150-220 almost every day around the home front and it's as good as ridding gets here. IMHO!

Just shy of 10,000 before I crashed the Eldo. So far about 400 miles on the CB1100. Just finished putting in the new petcock and fuel line on the '98 EV so, haven't got that one on the road yet.

I know a guy here in Tennessee (Friend of mine) who did this ON A BICYCLE in 2020.  Just think about it for a moment.  WOW!

At the end of November, he had a bike ride average of 66.09 miles per ride day.  Since he is 66 years old, he decided to try to have a at least a 66 mile per ride day average for the year.  He needed 38 miles today (last ride of year December 30th 2020) and got 47 miles.  Sp he averaged 66.05 miles per ride day for year 2020!

He rode his bicycle 11,295 miles, on 171 ride days, which is riding about once every 2-3 days!!

Again....on a BICYCLE!  Wow.
