GOMA motorcycle display
« on: January 07, 2021, 03:52:08 AM »
Today I went and saw a display called "The Motorcycle Design Art Desire" in Brisbane at a venue known as GOMA or Gallery of Modern Art.

The had a couple of old Guzzis there. This link shows all of the bikes on display.

https://motogoma.art/
See 22 and 28 for Guzzi reference.
See 78 for the bike that bought back the most memories, one of these were my second bike.
See 07 for the bike that is the same name as my grandson and built locally to me.

If you select the bike it has some information.

Steve,

That’s a nice collection. If we are picking, I’ll take #86. When I get too old to ride it, I can just park it in the living room.

Very nice collection.
Anybody visit this one in 1998? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_motorcycles_in_The_Art_of_the_Motorcycle_exhibition

Work took me to Vegas several times a year and was able to see that collection at the Venitian Resort in late 2001. The Morbidelli V8 was by far the most striking piece of artwork I had ever seen and looked at that bike the longest. I gotta win the lottery!
