Identify this Italian gas tank

Got this today along with a bunch of V700 parts because it's some kind of old Italian Scrambler tank.  It's probably for a single cylinder bike. 

Same form/stamping as used for a Parilla 250 Wildcat, but those have a bolt front mount, lower rear strap bail and different bung for gas cap.    This one uses no through bolts, only straps.  Unless it was chromed after it was modified, this is the way it came.    Traces of original-looking blue paint with gold pinstriping around exposed chrome areas remain.   What marque & model bike used this tank?

 I looked at Bianchi.  All tanks I found had a front bolt mount

Among other differences, The Disco Volante tanks are much wider and more bulbous at front bottom. 

The fuel balance tube attaches to nipples at the very rear, past the single petcock.   On most bikes I've had or seen, the single petcock is usually typical to smaller displacement- less than 250 if not 200 cc on hotter models.  The screw-on cap filler neck is much different, too.  Very tall and proud with no recess.  The blue paint overlaps the gold pinstripe, so probably not original.  Pretty sure the black & gold paint is.
