Exercising the Yellow Horse...
« on: February 23, 2021, 06:36:27 PM »
Nice weather today...some clouds, but 65 degrees, so I FLOGGED the ol' Yellow Horse for a 50-mile round trip shakedown ride from the VOC down to historic downtown Cottonwood and back. It felt good to be "In The Wind' again...It also felt good at 80-85 mph on a quick straight-away burst!! :thumb:  :boozing:

The bike ran great! :thumb:

I looked at the battery for mine today. Guzzis and Buell still in storage. British paperweight in garage.

was 70 here today.  Still some dirty piles of snow.  Took a bike out and did 50 miles.  Tried to get the Beeline to work.

That's a beautiful area.  I was there last week for 10 days....While it was zero degrees at home!  Stayed in Scottsdale, was able to get a ride in on a cousins Shovelhead up to Cave Creek and over to Lake Bartlett.  We drove (car) up to Grand Canyon, Sedona, Cottonwood, Jerome, Prescott.... I'd love to ride 89A someday!!

A great ride but best to avoid on the weekends because of clueless, dangerous tourists, who cannot drive safely or pay attention to other vehicles on the road...

Well no electric in the storage facility and I really want to have it turn over when I need it to so it will have a fully charged battery boing into it before I ride it.
