Remove Tail light assembly?

how does it come off? there’s a circlip on those two back nubs are there? not sure how i’d get them off, especially without a pliers

I’m not familiar with those assemblies, but usually removing the assembly from the fender will give you access to inner nuts.

? that’s what i’m asking. how is it done?

There is a snap ring on each of those two posts. Spin the ring around so the open end faces you and push it off the post with two little screwdrivers.

As far as I knew, (haven't needed to know for a while), the two pins to the back of the assembly are locator pins. The bolt in the middle near the front, (as you look at it), was the hold down.

they have circlips on them too
