      I think you're right, it looks like it spent it's life parked outside in behind the barn, not inside protected from the elements; too bad because all the bits are there but I'm thinking all the plastic & rubber parts wouldn't have stood up well with the UV's.

Yes, it would be lovely "restored" and brought back to life...but in that condition, this means a LOT of time and $$$ money $$$
