Wow, that sound takes me back 30 or 40 years. I just finished putting together a big block motor with K&N style intakes and a Mistral exhaust. My first attempt at fuel injection hosing was a bit of a bust- I made a four-way manifold that leaked...a bit. But after I fixed that and checked all the basic stuff- it fired right up and day-um. Sounds like a '67 V8. Takes me back!
This is a former California, now I have no idea what it is- I swapped out a lot of parts. It is a yard-bird, I guess. But geez, it runs well and sounds great!
Now, I need to paint the fenders so it looks halfway decent. I'm embarrassed to post a picture quite yet.
I really like my V85, but this is the sound that means 'Moto Guzzi' to me.
