Metzler Crustec Tires?
« on: June 16, 2021, 04:54:56 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about these hoops?  I just put them on my v9, so I hope they are good, I couldn't put on the very popular Conti tire many are bragging about, as they don't offer it in a 19".

I got a set of SPORTEC KLASSIK's  for EV instead of 880's this time around and they are wearing just as good as the 880's. They don't show them anymore. Never heard of yours yet.

Never heard of them; would it be a derivative of a name such as cruisertec aimed at heavier bike/long distance touring?

I am running (more by accident really) Metzelers on both the front and rear.  The front is sporting a Roadtec and the rear an MZ2 steel belted radial.  So far I am more than happy with them; on the Burt Munro this year the weather was atrocious and they never caused me any worries at all.  120kph wind and driving rain, no sweat.
