I sold mine, unrestored original paint with new solo seat, flat bars and exhaust- in 2006 for $6,500.00.  What a gorgeous bike. It was the first one of my keeper bikes that I sold for my studio. 









Thought that was a lot to ask.   the old bike prices were just starting to go increase significantly back then.   After I posted it on a BMW site, I stopped counting at 52(?) replies within 24hrs.  Apparently it would have brought $9K-$10K even back then.   It sold to a former BMW dealer here in SC somewhere who had always wanted a nice one.
