Wonderful . !! Thought I had a bad ECU connection on my MY17 Stelvio NTX. Took out both ECU 38 pin plugs and cleaned per instructions with De-Oxit. Worked well ..except it caused the little three lip connector seals on each block to expand and go all rubbery and soft. I guess they are Viton which i guess sucks in the solvents in the De-Oxit. Thus, it was impossible to reinstall either ECU connector without bunching up and tearing the seals. Totally pissed off i threw the towel in and went to bed. Next morning ..wowza!! The seals had dried out and tightened back up, thus making the re-connections a doddle. After all that i cleaned the ECU earth contacts...and kaboom, flippin bike still would not start..dead as a doornail. Then as if by magic, i discovered the multi pin connector into the back of the dashboard was loose.... What is it about bloody Italian motorbike electrical systems and Magnetti Marelli that is just so utterly bad???
