NGC. A great voice
« on: July 15, 2021, 10:10:31 PM »
I was watching a Ken Burns series on the Roosevelt’s (another great Burns production) and once again the familiar voice of Peter Coyote is the main narrator. Mr. Coyotes voice has to be one of best for telling a storey without becoming more important than the storey itself. I give a strong second place to long time Frontline narration by William Lyman.

Any other famous speakers out there that have ‘starred’ in narration?

I have always admired the voice of a good speaker, goes back to when Mom said I had a face for radio 😉

Morgan Freeman (March of the Penguins and voice of god)

Two great voices indeed!!

“No, I am your father” (the actual quote from Darth Vader )

“I don't run a car, have never run a car. I could say that this is because I have this extremely tender environmentalist conscience, but the fact is I hate driving”
