I gotta admit I never thought of this set up before. A person took a camper van, removed the powertrain and front undercarriage, front wheels and suspension, etc. Then they welded up a tow bar to the van frame, added skirts to where the front wheels were, and made a camping trailer out of it. I am wondering what would prevent them from running a generator from the differential Ujoint.

I am surprised that this van still has the front end. usually with this type of conversion the front end just behind the windshield gets chopped off and frame bent in to make the hitch making it much more balanced. I have seen a few totaled vans turned into usable cargo trailers this way.
