Loop Frame Oil Pan Gasket - reuse it

So with no oil filter I feel compelled to take the pan off and get all that gunk out when changing the oil. How many times can I get away with using the same pan gasket? Taking a week to get to the Kentucky Rally and wondering if I use a new gaskets or the old one when I change fluids before I leave. “Old” as in removed the pan twice already this summer. Maybe I just answered my question and will use a new gasket before the trip but…. for local riding do you change it every oil change or no?

I agree with Mark. If there are no mashed spots, rips or the like, use it. For you trip and piece of mind on your trip, put the new one in. Save the old one, then it's almost certain that you will never need it

You don’t have to drop the sump every oil change, as long as it’s getting new juice often.
