Fascinating.  I wonder how they shed a full 10lb and still incorporate catalytic converters?
Perhaps I’m looking at something different, but MG Cycle list them as “off road only”.

Yes,  "off road only" has been the legal weasel out language to appease the EPA noise level requirement for quite a few years for aftermarket pipes.    All or most all aftermarket mufflers you buy will have that language.  Of course no one pays attention, but it keeps the Mistral folks out of jail, along with Vance and Hines and all the others.

Indeed. But what info do you have that indicates your mistrals have cats?

Well I’ll be darned.

I figured that like Agostine, they wouldn’t bother with cats,  and I figured wrong.

It would be interesting to know the details on this one:

I have been looking but cannot find specifics on the Agostini as I cannot find their website.  The owner of Guzzitech commented that the Agostini's were made by Mistral on his forum and was expecting them to be available soon.

I found a blurb about the V7-850 Agostinis.  They will not be E5 compliant therefore we can assume there will be no integral catalyst and should sound a bit more fruity with the db killer in than the Mistral.   :azn:

Much improved!  The V7 rear shocks were like riding a buckboard!!  My back required a shock upgrade immediately!

I am not the most discerning or discriminating guy when it comes to suspension, but I do not have any compelling reason to upgrade the stock V7-850 setup.  I will leave it alone.  I weigh 200 lbs and have the rear shocks set at 2 clicks up from the softest setting.  This seems just right.
