New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Sib, thank you, again.
Doc, have you managed to source a wiring diagram or service manual yet?I've got that stuff for the V7, but I'm not sure what's available yet for the V7 II.
Found info on-line for the Classic and most seems same or close, for a general education, with allowances for known differences, such as 5 speed versus 6 speed. As you are probably aware, from the XLForum, I like to thoroughly research. So, I am making some progress.V7 II info may be more of a challenge, since it was introduced in late 2015 and replaced by the V7 III this year. Most helpful would be a color wiring schematic. Until the CANBus, beginning 2014, H-D has been very consistent with wire color codes and I have most memorized. CANBus required a lot more colors!I've identified the V7I sensors, which are different from the V7, as both front and rear calipers have speed sensors for ABS and traction control.
I have the wiring diagram for the V7-II.Shoot me a PM with your email & I'll send the PDF to you.
A gentleman by the name of Carl Allison often redraws the diagrams and makes them available through Gregory Bender's website (www.thisoldtractor. com). http://www.thisoldtractor.com/guzzi007/sportissimo.html
BTW: Any idea the purpose of the threaded holes (8 mm) in attached photo? Threads are bare metal, not painted, so maybe assembly line use??
