I was a swap meet many years ago and someone was selling that JP fairing, I couldn't believe how heavy it is.

Most interesting to me was the fact he bought it new. I thought they were something of a novelty at the time.  I had my '71 Fastback and was not tempted by this model especially after finding out they had little in common with Peter Williams' race bikes. Back then number one on my list was a Ducati 750SS. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Ugh, that fairing is so ugly..

Heavy, yes...but it's not THAT bad looking...(IMHO)!  Sort of like the old Endurance racers with the dual headlights! :thumb: :cool: :boozing: :wink: :smiley:

It was meant to resemble the fairing on the IOM bike.

Beautiful bike.  Jay Leno is the best thing ever to come out of Massachusetts. I’m still partial to 750 Combats but that’s because that’s what I ended up with.
