In the mid 1980s, I did a very abused/neglected 1964 R-60 sidecar model, mated to a Globe (Bombay) sidecar.  I sold it in 1999 as it took up more room than I had to spare.  I was pleased with the outcome, but the subject of this thread is really a few increments above mine.  I'd expect it to go for $12-15K.  Mine went for $8K 22 years ago.  There is a magic in old /2 Beemers with sidecars.

I agree, your $15,000 is probably accurate, and on BaT, something this nice, and rare, could go off the charts.

People get heated up and forget this is a sub 500cc bike that weighs like 750lbs and has crap brakes...  Sure is purdy tho!

I cannot disagree with the BaT comment. That auction site is not for the faint of bank account.

 As to this R50 with a Royal chair, the rarity will probably push the number to a Sidecar stratosphere.

Love that sidecar and of course, that vintage suitcase strapped to the luggage rack!
