Small Block love???

Just some unneeded commentary. Going way back, I have never been a lover of Guzzi small blocks, first Guzzi was a V50II I would call it OK at best, then LeMans III, LeMans IV, V11 LeMans. Never looked back at a small block after the big Guzzi's. Now I have tried a 2015 V7. I have ridden it a few thousand miles. I have enjoyed it very much. Looks decent, goes just about fast enough to be fun, handles decently (drags the side stand a bit when pushing it), makes a decent noise. So far its been reliable. I give it a thumbs up as a decent motorcycle.

I didn't care for the "modern" 2013 V7 Stone I owned briefly, but like my '82 V50 III a lot.

I had a 2010 V7 classic and have a 2013 V7 Stone which I love. I would like to get a new Stone but there’s nowhere to buy one in my state or the one next to it and probably further.No mechanic and no dealers.

My lust for power and speed waned over the years.  My last ticket was in 2016 while crossing north Texas at transcontinental touring speeds. 

Smaller, lighter bikes are just so easy and fun to ride with no pretense of having to go fast and out accelerate everyone.

Perhaps the most unique of the smallblocks.  If not unique, certainly very usable.  Guzzi could re-introduce the B750, perhaps with the sb 850 engine, and maybe have a winner on their hands.  Just daydreaming.

I hear ya on that....but it still is fun to embarrass big sport bikes on the twisties with little under powered bikes :-) Sorry I meant to respond/attacch to twowheeladdict post

Good find, @Mayor_of_BBQ. I Was thinking that the V100 had too much press already for Guzzi to give a nice showing at EICMA. Whatever this is makes for a good, legitimate reveal.

Curious what they’re going for with this. I’m not a fan of sporty-looking rears on a standard, outside the often (opinion alert!) unattractive entry-level machines that all brands are known to put out. Looks too tame for a street fighter.

It really just dawned on me these pics havent been posted here, I saw them on reddit.  They would be fools to discontinue the V7 retro standard line... I hope this is a new model with the V7/V9/V85 mill and not really a replacement for the V7 or 'the new V7'.

Depending on the paint color (I'm not saying which, but BrandX and I happen to own them)) the big and small Brevas were remarkably nice looking bikes.  Not "better' than other models, but very classy with lines possibly inspired by Pininfarina, or one of those other marvelous Italian automobile designers.

The Breva tank is unique Chad, quite different from what had gone before.  Having said that, the V7 tank is very nice indeed.  There is not enough difference between a Breva and a V7 to get me to change; anyway, at my age there is not much point.  The Breva does all that I want, and in comfort.  Fast enough to get the Best Traffic Ticket award at the Motueka Tattley Rappet rally.

My riding buddy had gone through a couple of BMWs (F650 and R1150RT) when he was bitten by the Guzzi bug.  He went small block, and picked up a nice lightly-used Breva 750, complete with a set of HB bags that were Guzzi-logo'd.  At that time, I'd just purchased my 1200 Sport, which was my favorite ride for 10 years.

I don't remember a time that the little Guzzi had any issues keeping up on the 'slab.'  But my buddy and his B750 really cleaned my clock on the twisty two lanes.  Admittedly, I'm overly cautious.

Oh, I thought when you guys were referring to unique and usable, you meant more than some bolt on plastic.

Styling on the Breva's is a bit unique, mostly do to the none functional spontoons.  But aside from a more modern look, the functionality of a Breva is no greater than any similarly equipped v7.
