Nice SR500 on ebay

I’m not a huge fan of SR500 customs since I really like the stock look, but I think that this one is beautiful:

I had two of them years back. I put one inch rise bars on them and stripped off the blinker lights. Great little bikes.

I've been waiting many years for them to build one with electric start. That or an electric XT350.

I’ve kept mine stock with exception of the supertrapp and adding a front disk.  I even kept stock compression when rebuilding it.  The ergos are great.

Bought mine new for $800 and basically gave it away. Biggest regret I have other than not buying the Silver Jubilee or the Norton 850 Commando. oh well

An Evan Wilcox tank is a thing of beauty. Looks like some $$$ were spent on this one.

Nicely done and so far, reasonably priced. I'd prefer one done as street tracker/scrambler rather than a cafe bike (though that tank IS gorgeous!).

That's one of the nicer ones - to my eye. But that front fender is just like too many others: too short and way too close to the tire!

Vintage cafe bikes need a rear fender.

Vintage cafe bikes need a rear fender.

Not if they don’t get ridden.

THIS^ Was so focused on the front fender that I missed the glaring lack of a rear fender.  :thumb:

There are some thoughtful touches on that scooter.  I really like the Manx style angled flat on the megaphone.  That's Pukka as can be..

I think it looks worth the asking price which is unusual for custom cafe racers.
