Been looking at a 24v impact wrench from Lowes on line. Price $149, tool only. Not in stock in closest store so cast a larger net looking at several stores within driving range. Still not in stock, would have to order but WOW!, price special of $99. Put it in the cart, added a battery and charger and received another $14 discount on wrench plus a couple bucks each off charger and battery. Total is now $171 includes tax and free shipping. Go to checkout and the price jumps to $203. Message Lowes for assistance and find out the battery and charger are not sold on Lowes.com but the wrench is still a good item. Okay, I'll pick up the batt. & charger at a store and go to order the wrench. Price is now $129. Goodbye Lowes. What a cluster.
Well, after cooling down a bit I tried to order again. Only this one store out of several in my area has this special price and it's close enough for me to pick up so I marked the box for in store pickup rather than free deliver. The price dropped back down to $85 so I ordered it. Free delivery isn't what it used to be apparently. We'll see if it shows up.
