Wheels
« on: February 21, 2022, 07:10:57 AM »
I’ve been working on getting up over the border to pick up two Guzzis I bought from Harry in Toronto last Fall.  Between customs paperwork and other obligations it’s been a Bear.  Harry sorted the parts yesterday and sent me pictures so that I can plan a big enough truck.  These are two of my favorites.  I just love parts. Thanks Harry.

Most are extras.  Some of the parts are originals taken off the v7 Sport and will be put back on.  Some are front end and fairings from the CX100.  I bought both bikes and the parts come with them.  The CX is complete and the v7 is partially disassembled. With ———, maybe a blockade, customs paperwork, weather and distance the purchase is a challenge but I’m looking forward to seeing Toronto and meeting another member.

Vary cool!  Its funny back about 20 years ago when I was looking for parts for a old Mustang I have, I found a guy in Toronto that had a NOS OE quarter panel and some other oddball parts I needed. Took a run up there and had planned to spend the night at the falls. Wife and I forgot it was Valentines weekend, and all rooms were full!! Still a nice ride [though about 4 hours shorter for me then you] met some great people, and got to explain to the boarder guy that we were bringing back a little less then half of a 1970 Mustang.. and some beer.
