Anyone have a pic of a bare seat pan (V7III)?
« on: June 26, 2022, 12:47:09 PM »
I’m considering having a custom seat made, but I’d like to know more about what the seat pan looks like under the foam. Esp what shape the “kick up” at the back takes where the locking pin is.

Really wish I had taken pics of the rear when I chopped it off; this is what the pan looks like just in front of the seat  / fender stay:

In the process of making a solo saddle. Currently on hold as I focus on the sidecar project, upcoming Newfoundland trip, and freelance work. Chopped the rear fender/seat bracket at the welds so that the rear mudguard will be naked, and allow me to attach a rear fender rack. One day :)
