Apologies for missing this when posted.

Apologies, too, for this somewhat somber addition to a celebratory event, Canada Day.

Yet, it does illustrate how intertwined our two nations are.

This is a photo of our place this past Easter -- and every Easter since 2007.





All in homage to the loss of a family friend, Corporal Brent Poland, Royal Canadian Regiment, killed in Afghanistan on 8 April 2007.
