your thoughts

Considering a Calif EV with 60K miles. i think its a 98 model ??  Ive, been hoping to find a carb version, but this one has two throttle body injectors. Bike starts and runs fine, however it is the ugliest paint job i have aver seen. front brakes make a horrid metal on metal sound (owner has new rotors) and there is a lot of pad dust all over the front rim. The clutch seems to engage when the lever is almost fully released. seems wrong to me, but IDK...  Overall the bike is in good shape, but any where you look, there is something a bit ugly... ie. exhaust flange nuts are rusty, bent handle bars small dent in tank, chipped paint (beyond the ugly color scheme).. split rubber boots... etc...
As my current V7 is my first goose, I know nothing of this bike and its value, but i think i see some expense coming my what to get it to be what i want.

So all that blabber spoken, what do you all think the bike is worth ?

Some paint schemes are so ugly, they actually look good.

What is the paint scheme of said, ugly duckling.

I'm sure I can pick it you for 2600..  just not sure if that's a good price, as i would have to do a few things to make me happy with it.

With no pics and that description I think $2600 sounds a couple hundred high, but depends on the needs and your ability to do the work yourself vs. paying someone to do it.  And yeah the Hot Dog & Mustard color combo is pretty terrible, in a sort of endearing way.
