Mine doesn't lead anywhere. That is, it feeds out of that plastic protrusion from the bottom of the airbox cover, but the other end of the hose doesn't connect to anything.... Is that... wrong? Bad? Dangerous?

If so, where is it supposed to connect to?

Thanks, y'all.

The line should be plugged, so you can see if there is any accumulation of oil in the airbox, but it's correct that it doesn't "lead" anywhere it just dangles near the rear suspension/frame area (should be tucked in somewhere so as not to get tangled up).  It's an indication that you may need to clean the airbox due to an overfill of oil...

On my 90 Mille the 2 hoses connect to the breathers on the heads and recycle the air back through the air intake.

Yeah, that's upstream in the system before this.

Ironically Guzzi has changed the airbox drain hose multiple times in the smallblocks. IIRC on my MkI it goes through a check valve back into the sump, but MKII is different or maybe just the Stornello was different. Other years have one or two small, clear drain hose bulbs attached directly to the airbox fitting.
