Carc dust ring

  Pulled the rear wheel off my Norge today to install a new tire. The dust ring that sets between the wheel and carc fell off the wheel as I was removing it and I didn't see how it was turned. I assume the flange goes towards the carc. Is that correct???

Correct the  flange goes towards the carc
