Something in common?
« on: August 18, 2022, 07:12:24 PM »
I’m alone, returning from a short sojourn on California’s Pacific Coast Highway, taking a breather in 100+ degree heat at an overlook of Sonoma County’s depleted Lake Sonoma. A couple drive up in what appears to be a rental vehicle ~ you know, one of those cars no one would likely purchase?  The gent and lady get out and have a brief conversation in a language I could not discern.  After photos, the fellow gestures to me indicating he’d like me to get a couples’ photo with his iPhone.  I smile and comply. As they turn to re-enter the rental, he sees my parked V7, and says (as clear as ever), “Moto Guzzi, eh?” and follows that comment up with a wink and a nod.
