V7 850 First Longish Ride

Took the V7 down to Monterey and back yesterday.  Beautiful day.  V7 preformed flawlessly.  Very nice bike, no problem keeping up with the California speedsters, not a problem at 75 to 80+ MPH.  Had the bags on just to see if all is AOK.  Next I think it will be some bar end mirrors and maybe a somekind of windscreen.

When you say down, do you mean from the north or off the mountains?  My V7III has no issues with those speeds so I'd imagine the extra power gives plenty of reserve.
