Worth a try?

After a seat cover for my T and I see a number available on Ebay for about 60 USD. Anyone had experience with these covers? Made in Thailand by the looks of it.

I bought a well-made Convert type cover on ebay - made in England - for about the same price...

Hard to tell about the quality. But the lettering on the back, at least in that insert, looks a lot like the original. I haven’t seen that on others. Also, the embossed pattern on top looks similar, although I’d have to have my old seat cover to look at to be sure. I’d buy it if I needed one.

Did you guys find a seat cover on ebay that matches the Convert's original?  I could not find one that had the same pattern.

I decided to give one of these seat covers a try. Made in Thailand. The Guzzi lettering on the back looks good in the photos. Even though I live on the border with Mexico, and the "sister city", Agua Prieta is full of upholstery shops, inflation has caused their prices to get pretty expensive. A few years ago, you could get any motorcycle seat re upholstered for $50-$60 bucks. The other day, I went to get some prices,and they wanted around $200-$250. Yikes!They all stated the price of marine vinyl,and thread had gone up. So I thought for $75. shipped, I would give the ebay seat cover a try. I will let ya all know how it works out after it arrives.

If you bought that for your Convert seat, then it probably won't fit. Quite a bit of difference in the shape of the foam (and maybe pan too?) between the T3 and Convert.

I bought one from this seller on ebay "old-school-covers" for my 83 SP1000.  Happy with it! Lettering looks good and material was supple and of good quality.
