MABDR, Take 2! Seeking garages/mechanics along the way
« on: May 20, 2023, 07:50:12 PM »
Saturday (May 27), I make my second attempt to conquer the Mid-Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route, this time with the Sputnik sidecar instead of the porky custom-built tub.

I’d appreciate any recommendations/lists of mechanics or motorcycle service shops who might be able to help if I’m in a bind. Last year, the good folks at Kissell Motorsports near Altoona were sweethearts and gave me space in one of their bays to realign my sidecar after the Poe Paddy rock climb. Hoping I can reach out to a couple shops and stick a pin on the map where help might be available if needed.

Although I'll be gone most of the day on June 1st (as I've already emailed you about), I'll be available other days.

I’ll be following 81 via the secondary roads up to southern PA to visit fam. Probably go through the Poconos before hopping onto 84 (yuck) or making my way into the Green Mountains

84 isnt that bad. At least from Pa to Newberg NY. and going through those valleys are pretty stunning. Have a great trip.
