Stelvio - missing GPS connector

Hi, since I bought a Garmin device, I wanted to connect its power to the TomTom GPS ready connector that the Stelvio has.
What a surprise that the connector is not where it should be.  Probably the work of the original owner.

Does anyone know where the cable should come from?  Does it make sense to track it down, or connect the GPS elsewhere to switched power?

I don't know where on the bike the OE accessory lead runs. I was able to do what you are trying: wire a Garmin plug to the OE lead. The switched power for the lights should be nearby, I would think.

May have to look on both sides....on my 2008 Norge, the TomTom connector was on the left of the tank, however on the 2015 Griso, the connector was on the right side of the tank I believe.

Interesting. Well, not really. But it was on the left near the ECU on my ‘13 and current ’17.

So the mystery is solved.  I don't have a Stelvio NTX, only a Stelvio 8V which didn't have fog lights.  The previous owner in Italy connected the purchased Givi lights to the GPS cable.  At least he did it properly, with a fuse and a relay.

So I will now try to connect with Garmin behind the relay as well.
