An ode to My old 98 EV
« on: July 30, 2023, 08:14:05 PM »
So, she’s been sitting in the warehouse for a year and a half. I’ve been thru so many bikes. Airheads, K bikes, a big valve orange/black 1000S, 88 F1S Ducati, etc. But they all went away. The only one I kept all these years was my 98 EV11. After 18 months of storage, I turned the fuel tap , hit the starter and she came alive. No problems. Satisfying. Pleasurable. Almost like coming back home after being away for so long.  Any of you with long term machines know what I’m saying. Here’s to the bikes that bring so much enjoyment.

Service & ride, do mix in fresh fuel though.
