Saprisa With LED Warning light
« on: September 11, 2023, 03:58:34 PM »
My Mille GT (Saprisa Charging) is running with a replacement instrument console with LED idiot lights.  This means the warning light for the charging system is lit all the time.

Anyone know what size resistor I will need to drop the current enough to shut off the light when it shouldnt be?

I have an led bulb in the standard Mille cluster, also Saprisa system, no problem. Mine lights as normal, key on, engine off, and engine running and voltage drops below about 13v. I have replaced all the instrument cluster warning lights and instrument illumination bulbs with LED light bulbs.

ok,  Weird Mine seems to leak enough power even at full revs to light the LED.

I'll rewire it and leave a loop of wire on there in case i need to amend.  Not easy to test during a rewire.....

Thanks mate.
