2004 Stone.....No oil light. I suppose some problem near the dash. But where is the sender unit on the engine, just in case? thanks,

It’s on the block in front of the left cylinder. Test the light by grounding the lead, you don’t need to disconnect it , just run a ground wire from its connector and light will come on for the switch is a grounding switch.

If what John recommends does not illuminate the light, check the tiny little bulb in the dash. They can be "fiddgety".

Stone's & Jackal's had a crappy bulb socket, I've swapped a few shorted ones.

BTW...since 60W can't be found around here......the drunk at the end of the bar sez just add a splash of 80-90W gear oil to the 50W.........? ?
