Moto Guzzi is not the only parts bin bike
« on: October 09, 2023, 09:00:41 PM »
Today I was showing off my Quota restoration to my visiting brother.  Next to the Quota is my Buell Blast.  While discussing the Quota I pointed out the tail light assembly had broke and I replaced it.  Then it hit me, the Buell Blast has the same exact tail light assembly.

Many parts on the Blast are from various Kawasaki models and H.D. models. So does Moto Guzzi use H.D. parts?

First bike I know of with that tail light is the ducati monster. Lots of bikes used it.

Industry standard parts sure help when you find them on an old bike!

So does Moto Guzzi use H.D. parts?

No, Guzzi did not use HD parts, but Buell used some Italian parts from suppliers which Guzzi also used.

Buell Blast?  May be the only one left in existence :cheesy:!

All companies make parts bin bikes/cars, it's only a matter of degree.
