Loop Frame - Bottom Yoke Pinch Bolt Torque

This may make some of you roll your eyes, but I'm new here so be gentle...

I have been searching on every site I know but I can't seem to find the torque spec for the lower yoke bolts for my '73 Eldorado.  They are 12mm bolts and I've looked on this site (using the google filter "site:Wildguzzi.com), This Old Tractor (the one torque chart doesn't seem to have a 12mm bolt listed for the yoke, so maybe it doesn't apply to my bike?), I've downloaded the manuals and looked through my new copy of Guzziology, but I keep striking out - so any help would be much appreciated...

I have never "torqued" them. With standard length wrenches I just give them a very good and hard pull. Like tightening an axle nut, but maybe a little less.

Ah thanks!  Don't suppose there is a link to site or doc that has more Eldorado torque specs that I haven't found?  I'm still getting used to the how and where to find info for this bike.

No it's not posted anywhere, so, you use common sense! Remember that? Even though it's a 12mm bolt which can go to 58ftlbs, you are pinching alu cast, so I use 32 like the 10mm ones on a Tonti. None of my Loops or customers have ever slipped down. You can use more if you want but I don't, it's cast.

No aluminum on the yokes of a Loopframe.  The lower yoke is cast iron (or steel?). The bolt will fail first.

Makes sense.  I brought it tight, but since I wasn't sure of what it was underneath the Headlamp Bracket that the yoke was "squeezing" I didn't ham-fist it (not that I do that to anything...).  And yes, common sense prevails, but as an engineer, I can't help but want to have an idea of what was intended...
